	Hello! I'm new here, and was just wondering, what's the general procedure regarding verb tense? Usually while reporting/talking about/discussing most novels, the literary present tense is used, but I wasn't too sure for LOTR related topics, since the stories are suppose to be a historical account, (am I correct about this fact?) So, should we/I use the lit. present or the past tense? Also, is there a page regarding general wiki grammar rules that I should have first looked at to answer this question?
