Hob Gammidge

Great-Grandfather of Samwise Gamgee and son of Wiseman Gamwich
Hob made his living in Tighfield as a roper, and so was the founder of long family tradition.
Hob was married to Rowan, daughter of Holman the Greenhanded and they had a son, Hobson.
Hob was also known by the nickname "Old Gammidgy", and is the only person in the long Gamgee line to have the surname Gammidge.
