Isembard Took was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History
Isembard was the seventh child of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. He had one son, Flambard Took, born in S.R. 1387.[1]
Etymology
The name means "iron battle-axe" (isen + bard).[2]
