J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Vol. II: The Two Towers is a PC game by Interplay Productions.[1][2][3][4][5]
Production
The Lord of the Rings, Vol. II: The Two Towers followed the first part, The Lord of the Rings, Vol. I (1990 computer game),[1] and chronicles the events of the second tome.[3] A third game was originally also planned, covering The Return of the King, but it never came to be.[1]
The game was designed by Mark Whittlesey and Scott Bennie,[6][4] who chose to retain most of the story and also mixed in elements from Tolkien's other works.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag
