The J.R.R. Tolkien Calendar 1998 was produced by the Italian Tolkien Society and features illustrations from eleven different artists: Maura Boldi, Flavio Brunetti, Ambra Colombrani, Andreina D'Ambrosio, Maria Distefano, Gianfranco Dutto, Domenico Franchi, Diego Iaconfcic, Alessandro Maccari, Luca Michelucci, and Angelo Montanini.
