James Dunning is an American Tolkien artist. Dunning's artwork has been featured in the Mark T. Hooker publications A Tolkienian Mathomium, The Hobbitonian Anthology, Tolkien and Welsh, and The Tolkiennæum[1] as well as the 2011 Beyond Bree Tolkien Calendar. In 2011, Dunning published a book, The Bright Lady and the Astral Wind, narrating an encounter with a Galadriel in contemporary Middle-earth.[2]
