James Nesbitt (born 15 January 1965) is a Northern Irish actor, best known for playing Adam Williams in the comedy-drama Cold Feet and the starring role in the detective-drama Murphy's Law. On the 1 November 2010 it was announced by New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. and MGM that Nesbitt would play the role of Bofur in The Hobbit films.[1]
