James Nesbitt is a Northern Irish actor most famous for playing Adam Williams in the t.v series Cold Feet and Ivan Cooper in the television film Bloody Sunday about the eponymous event in Derry in 1972.

James Nesbitt (born 15 January 1965) is a Northern Irish actor, best known for playing Adam Williams in the comedy-drama Cold Feet and the starring role in the detective-drama Murphy's Law. He portrayed Bofur in The Hobbit (film series).[1]

His daughters are Mary and Peggy Nesbitt, who play Bard's daughters Tilda and Sigrid in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.[2]
