Lórindol was the surname given to Hador son of Hathol of the Third House of the Edain. Lórindol is an Elvish word meaning "Goldenhead" or (less accurately) "Golden-haired",[1] a reference to the golden hair of Hador, a trait shared by many other members of his House.
