Letter 11 is a letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Summary

This fragment of a letter dated 5 February 1937 was sent to Allen & Unwin concerning the publication of The Hobbit. Tolkien has received the reduced prints of the illustrations he sent in Letter 9 and offers his approval. He thanks the publisher for taking so much trouble with them, "especially against economics", and draws their attention to a few minor errors.
