Letter 335 is a letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Summary

This fragment of a letter, dated May 18, 1972, is written to Michael Salmon, a reader. Mr. Salmon had sent a kind letter and expressed interest in Tolkien's work, and apparently made some inquiries as well. Tolkien tells him that if he wants to finish The Silmarillion, he does not have time for answering fan-letters.
