Cover of the 1959 Sagan om ringen

H.W. Donner 1960 is a letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to H.W. Donner, written on 7 July 1960.[1][2]

  • Subject(s): Tolkien disliked the cover illustration of the Swedish translation of The Lord of the Rings (Sagan om ringen, 1st Swedish edition 1959).[3]
  • Publication: None. The letter is kept in the collections of the Åbo Akademi University.[1]
