Linhir was a town in southern Gondor at the fords of the River Gilrain, near to the Mouths of Anduin. Aragorn and the Grey Company came here on there journey to Pelargir. They found Angbor lord of Lamedon, fighting the forces of Umbar and Harad, but the the Corsairs and Haradrim fled when they saw the Army of the Dead. Afterward, a host of men came from Linhir to the marshalling of forces at Pelargir.
