Lord of the Rings: Game One (published in North-America as The Fellowship of the Rings Software Adventure) is the sequel of The Hobbit.[2] It is divided in two parts and has also a begginer's game.[3] Lord of the Rings: Game One is a part of "The Tolkien Trilogy"[2][3] and "The Tolkien Software Adventure Series".[3] It was licensed by the Tolkien Estate.[3]

Included in the initial release was a paperback copy of The Fellowship of the Ring.[3]
