Madril is a concept which has only appeared in an adaptation of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Madril is Faramir's second in command in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings. He is killed by Gothmog in The Return of the King. He is played by John Bach.

Madril is obviously an anagram of the canonical name Mardil (the same way the character Irolas is derived from Iorlas) however there is no actual background or etymology behind it.

Games Workshop released a metal miniature version of Madril for the The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game.
