Madril is a concept which has only appeared in an adaptation of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Madril is Faramir's second in command in The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy. He is killed by Gothmog in the Return of the King. He is played by John Bach.

Madril is obviously an anagram of the canonical name Mardil Voronwë (the same way the character Irolas is derived from Iorlas) however there is no actual background or etymology behind it.

Games Workshop released a metal miniature version of Madril for the Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game.
