Mallos was a flower that grew in the vales of Lebennin in Gondor, described as having the shape and colour of a golden bell.

[edit] Etymology

Mallos is a Sindarin name meaning "golden flower",[1] apparently consisting of elements related to malt ("gold") + loth/loss ("flower"/"snow"). The Westron name of the flower is given as Goldenbell.[source?]
