Mede was the seventh month of the calendar of Bree. Preceded by the Summerdays, it corresponded to Afterlithe of the Shire Calendar, approximately corresponding to modern 24 June through 23 July.[1]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Mede, means "meadow".[2]
