Michael D.C. Drout

Michael D.C. Drout (born May 1968) is a professor of English and Chair of the English Department at Wheaton College in Newton, Massachusetts. He is considered to be an expert in the field of J.R.R. Tolkien scholarship. Along with Douglas A. Anderson and Verlyn Flieger, Drout is a founding editor of Tolkien Studies, an annual scholarly journal.
