mirkwood also known as wilderland a fauvored place for those of the woodland realm with the forest river the enchanted stream and of course the ever famous elvenking halls in wich thorin and co were abducted the full on scale of the forest is beyond advanced comprehension and not a recommended place for a nice picnic

although it is not rich in magic creatures it compensates for that with other forms like giant spiders "black king" butterflys and much more
we all know of Bilbo Baggins venturings through rhovanian but apart from the hobbit are there any other stories of mirkwood?

it is known that mirkwood has also homed brave woodsman daring enough to live on the edge of the forest and it is also said to have homed secret orc camps wich were used to attack gondor with greater speed as everyone knows that not even the determined knights of gondor cant fight on two fronts .i can tell now tha t mirkwood is just as big as gondor in area and is not to be taken for granted because if you do you will never leave alive...
