-The bejewelled golden necklace made for [[Finrod Felagund|Finrod]] by the [[Dwarves of Nogrod]]. After the destruction of [[Nargothrond]], it was recovered from that citadel's treasuries by [[Húrin Thalion|Húrin]], who passed it to [[Thingol]] in [[Menegroth]]. Thingol mounted a [[Silmarils|Silmaril]] on the Necklace, an event that was to have historic consequences.
