Nessanië was the daughter of Hallatan of Hyarastorni, a descendant of Elros in the sixth generation. Her younger brother was Hallacar, spouse of Tar-Ancalimë, Queen of Númenor.[1]

Etymology

The meaning of Nessanië's name is not entirely clear, but appears to be derived from the Quenya name of the Valië Nessa.
