nestegi

nestegi is an Exilic Noldorin word meaning "insert, stick in". The past tense is said to be nestanc.^[1]

Didier Willis has suggested that nestag- (retaining the same meaning) would be the valid Neo-Sindarin form of the infinitive verb nestegi.^[2]
