Nimbrethil

Nimbrethil was a region of birchwoods that lay in the land of Arvernien, on the northern shore of the Bay of Balar. Wood from the forests of Nimbrethil was used by Eärendil to construct his ship Vingilot.
The woods were recalled by Bilbo in his song at Rivendell.[1]
Etymology
Nimbrethil is Sindarin, composed of the words nim and brethil. Nimbrethil is translated to "silver birches", and can also mean "white princess".[2]
