Oatbarton was a town in the Northfarthing of the Shire, but its exact location is unknown. The Northway led from Oatbarton to the Great East Road.
In The Atlas of Middle-earth, Karen Fonstad misread the name, which appears in small letters on a map by Tolkien. Her Atlas called the town "Oakbottom".
