Oatbarton was a town or village in the Northfarthing of the Shire. The Northway led from Oatbarton to the Great East Road.

Oatbarton does not appear in the map A Part of the Shire therefore its location is unknown.
In The Atlas of Middle-earth, Karen Fonstad misread the name, which appears in small letters on a map by Tolkien. Her Atlas called the town "Oakbottom".
