Of the Flight of the Noldor is the nineth chapter of the Quenta Silmarillion section within The Silmarillion.

Synopsis

This chapter deals with Morgoth's (Melkor's) return to Middle-earth, the departure of the Ñoldor from Aman, the Oath of Fëanor, the First Kinslaying at Alqualondë, the Curse of Mandos, the burning of the ships at Losgar, and the crossing of the Helcaraxë.
