'''Olórin''' or '''Olózin''' was a [[Maia]] of the people of [[Manwë]] and [[Varda]]. He was said to be one of the wisest of his order. He came to [[Middle-earth]] in the [[Third Age]](in the guise better known as [[Gandalf the Grey]] (also known as [[Mithrandir]] by the people of [[Gondor]]) with four other Maiar called the Istari (wizards) [[Saruman the White]] , [[Radagast the Brown]], and two [[Blue Wizards]]: Alatar the Blue and Pallando the Blue. He was killed a duel with a [[Balrog]] of [[Morgoth]] in [[Moria]] and was sent back by [[Eru]] as [[Gandalf the White]] during the [[War of the Ring]]. He returned to Valinor in the beginning of the [[Fourth Age]] of Middle-earth with [[Elrond]], [[Galadriel]], and two [[hobbits]] [[Frodo Baggins]], and [[Bilbo Baggins]].
