Self-portrait

Omar Rayyan (born 1968) is an artist who primarily bases his works on fantasy, folklore, and fairy tales. He is a published illustrator of children's books and young adult books, and created numerous illustrations for the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.

Rayyan was born in Jordan, with an American mother and a Jordanian father. He graduated with a BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.[1]
