orne is a noun meaning "tree" in Quenya, especially a tall, slender tree such as an ash or birch. Compare with orn in Sindarin.[1]
Helge Fauskanger has suggested that the form ornë (retaining the same meaning) could be valid Neo-Quenya.[2]
Examples
- Ornendil = "Friend of the Trees"
