Along with [[Saruman]], he journeyed into the east with [[Alatar]] as one of the [[Blue Wizards]], and never returned to the western lands. The [[Men of the North (Third Age)|Men of the North]] knew very little about Pallando and Alatar, save that they called them [[Ithryn Luin]] (Blue Wizards) because of their sea blue cloth.
