Pen-arduin was the home of Borlas son of Beregond, probably in Emyn Arnen, where his father Beregond had moved as the commander of the guard of Prince Faramir at the beginning of the Fourth Age.

The place-name is only mentioned in the story The New Shadow in connection with Borlas's name: Borlas of Pen-arduin.[1]
