Poems and Songs of Middle Earth is a collection of verses from The Adventures of Tom Bombadil read by J.R.R. Tolkien, together with Donald Swann's (piano) and William Elvin's (song) performance of The Road Goes Ever On, issued by Caedmon Records on a gramophone record in 1967. Tolkien recorded the verses on 15 June 1967.[1]

The front of the album cover features an illustration by Pauline Baynes, and on the back W.H. Auden contributed with an introduction to Tolkien.
