Qerkaringa, the Chill Gulf, was a narrow sound between the Helkaraksë and the Great Lands. The region only appears in the Book of Lost Tales.[1][2]

Etymology

The first element in the Qenya name Qerkaringa is likely qerka ("throat").[3]
