Randel McGraw Helms is an American Bible scholar and Professor of English. Helms studied at University of California with a B.A. in 1964, and with a Ph.D. in 1968 at University of Washington. From 1968, he then taught at the University of Washington as an assistant professor of English. This was before becoming professor at Arizona State University in the English Department.
