Robin Atkin Downes is a British actor.

He auditioned for the role of Aragorn in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings. Atkin Downes was stated as trying out for the role but was not what the casting crew was looking for. He did voice several characters in video games, but none of them were Aragorn.

Additional

According to his official resumé[1], Atkin Downes voiced Legolas in War of the Ring and Fíli, Kíli and "Master of the Elves" in The Hobbit. It is unclear whether he actually voiced these characters: Grant George is also credited for the voice of Legolas, and the voice of Kíli sounds surprisingly much like Tom Kane.
