Ronald Eduard Kyrmse (b. 30 April 1952) is a Brazilian Tolkien scholar and founder of the first Brazilian Tolkien Society in 1989, called Heren Hyarmen (changed in 2003 to Heren Hyarmeno). He translated most of Tolkien's books that have been published in Brazilian Portuguese. He is a member of Tolkien Society and used to belong to Quendili, the Society's Elvish study group.
