Second Age 1700 (abbreviated to S.A. 1700) is the 1700th year of the Sun of the Second Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
- Tar-Minastir sends a great navy from Númenor to Lindon[1] and to the mouth of the Gwathló.[2]
- Sauron is defeated[1] at the Battle of the Gwathló and utterly routed.[2]
