Sharku (late Third Age) was an Orc invented by Peter Jackson for his The Two Towers film adaptation. In the movie, Sharku is one of the Warg-riders who ambush the column of Rohirrim woman and children retreating from Edoras to the safety of Helm's Deep. King Theoden and his guard, with the help of Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, fend off the attack. However, during the battle Aragorn gets tangled in the harness of Sharku's Warg and both the beast and the ranger fall of a cliff. Sharku, mortally wounded, survives just long enough to gloat about Aragorn's (supposed) death to Legolas and Gimli.

The Warg-rider ambush did not happen in the original book. The character of Sharku was played by Jed Brophy.
