Sigrid was the eldest daughter of Bard in the Hobbit film trilogy. She was played by Peggy Nesbitt, the eldest daughter of James Nesbitt (who plays Bofur). She tends the family's house in Lake-town and looks after her younger sister Tilda while Bard is away at work. After the destruction of Lake-town by Smaug when the town's refugees take shelter in the remains of Dale, she, Tilda, and Bain go into hiding with the rest of the women and children once the Battle of Five Armies begins. During the battle, the women rally to take up arms as well, though it is unclear whether Sigrid joined alongside them.
