The Sociedad Tolkien Peruana (Spanish: "Peruvian Tolkien Society"), or STP is a Tolkien Society based in Peru. It was founded on January 3, 2001, on the 118th birthday of J.R.R. Tolkien. It has two smials, one for the North (Tumbes) and one for the South (Arequipa). The Society's main activities include the yearly Máratulda Vinyë Meldorinna, Bilbo & Frodo Rally and Gran Concilio, of which the fourth was held on April 4, 2009.
