Sociedad Tolkien Peruana

The Sociedad Tolkien Peruana (Spanish: "Peruvian Tolkien Society"), or STP is a Tolkien Society based in Peru. It was founded on January 3, 2001, on the 118th birthday of J.R.R. Tolkien. It has two smials, one for the North (Tumbes) and one for the South (Arequipa). The Society's main activities include the yearly Máratulda Vinyë Meldorinna, Bilbo & Frodo Rally and Gran Concilio, of which the fourth was held on April 4, 2009.
As off 2023 it appears to be active. Although it's official website has not been updated since 2009 it's Facebook activity page shows activity in 2023.[1]
