TEÑ is a Primitive Quendian root signifying "show, sign, indicate, signify, to point at".[1][2] The root is related to TEK ("sign").[2]
Derivatives
- Primitive Quendian: tenwe[1] or teñwa > teiw[2]
Other versions
Note that the roots TEÑ1 and TEÑ2, with different significations, appear in the Etymologies.[3]
In the Qenya Lexicon appears the root TEŊE ("know, understand").[4][2]
