Tal-Elmar is the title of an incomplete narrative of which he is the main character. The story offers a glimpse of the Númenórean colonization of Middle-earth from the perspective of its indigenous inhabitants, and was published in the final volume of The History of Middle-earth, The Peoples of Middle-earth.
