Talk:Akallabêth

We need a main article for the destruction of Númenor. Should it be this article (which would need expansion), or the perhaps more appropriate Fall of Númenor? --Narfil Palùrfalas 17:11, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

The article begins with words "Akallabêth ("The Downfallen" in Adûnaic; Quenya is Atalantë) is the story of the destruction of the Kingdom of Númenor" (my italics), but I think it should be stressed that Akallabêth is also (or even primarily) the name of the sunken Númenor, like Mar-nu-Falmar and Atalantë (see the last words in Silmarillion: "Akallabêth"). --Tik 02:45, 8 November 2007 (EST)
