Etymology

This article had: "Aros ([[Doriathrin]] *"redness"; root YAR "blood")" . There doesn't seem to be enough info in the Etymologies for this claim - have I missed some other reference to the name Aros? --Morgan 20:57, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

"Redness" is never given as a direct translation. Under the root YAR, the connection to blood and the red colour of the river are mentioned. I think the removal of "redness" is legitimate. -- Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 22:41, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
