I wrote in the article that  "Nothing else is known of the desert", but perhaps some inventive person can make something out of "''all the enemy that were not slain or drowned were gone flying over the [?borders] into the desert that lies north of Harad''" (WR, p. 413), together with the earlier draft "''all the enemy that were not slain or drowned were flying over the Poros into Lothland desert''" (WR, p. 425). Is this passage included in the published version? --[[User:Morgan|Morgan]] 20:05, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

==Etymology==
The [http://ardapedia.herr-der-ringe-film.de/index.php/Desert_of_Lostladen Ardapedia article] notes an explanation of the word ''Lostladen'' published(?) in Helmut W. Pesch's book ''Elbisch'' (anyone has a copy of the book?). Perhaps this could be worth noting in our article too.--[[User:Morgan|Morgan]] 20:10, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

I wrote in the article that "Nothing else is known of the desert", but perhaps some inventive person can make something out of "all the enemy that were not slain or drowned were gone flying over the [?borders] into the desert that lies north of Harad" (WR, p. 413), together with the earlier draft "all the enemy that were not slain or drowned were flying over the Poros into Lothland desert" (WR, p. 425). Etymology[edit source]

The Ardapedia article notes an explanation of the word Lostladen published(?) in Helmut W. Pesch's book Elbisch (anyone has a copy of the book?). Perhaps this could be worth noting in our article too.--Morgan 20:10, 16 May 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
