- AFAIK the Firmament is mentioned only in the Ainulindale, as a "part" of the Timeless Halls. It is therefore unrelated to "sky" the stars or menel of Arda. Sage 19:20, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

- Yes, the Abyss and Firmament pages should probably be moved to the Timeless Halls page due to the fact that they have little substance because the menel of Arda has no place under the Firmament [of the Timeless Halls].
