Companion and orcs[edit source]
I tried to find the reference of the orc-assault in Anorien where he lost his companion and he escaped. I skimmed the chapter but didn't find one. I find it strange because the Orcs entered Anorien only after March 10. Sage 12:22, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- Neither found I. I suppose there was no such assault. But what about the three horsemen seen by Gandalf and Pippin (in the beginning of the chapter "Minas Tirith"):
- But Shadowfax paused in his stride, slowing to a walk, and then he lifted up his head and neighed. And out of the darkness the answering neigh of other horses came; and presently the thudding of hoofs was heard, and three riders swept up and passed like flying ghosts in the moon and vanished into the West.
- Should we think these horsemen were Hirgon and his companions? --Tik 14:48, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
