Accents in Dwarven Names

I was just following along when I added accents to the names of the Dwarves in Thorin and Company. But where are the accents coming from? They're certainly not from the The Hobbit. I'm speaking specifically of Fíli, Kíli, Óin, and Glóin. Any know the source? Thanks. --Ebakunin 19:23, 27 May 2006 (EDT)

I agree, not sure where they came from, I'm guessing Wikipedia which sometimes uses less conventional canon such as the accent in Noldor. I'll do a bit of research but I would guess non-accented is the way to go, although Wikipedia must have some sort of reference behind it or they wouldn't have done it in the first place. --Hyarion 00:03, 28 May 2006 (EDT)
